About Paradoxplace

Segesta

There was and is but a single temple at Segesta - another major Greek centre of 2,500 years ago, this time in NW Sicily, but it is one of the most untampered with, and also beautifully located.

The word breathtaking is the only one that comes to mind in describing the view from the Greek theatre right at the top of the hill (and latterly the motorway engineering way below!)
