Three Abbots, three Bishops and other funeral mourners grace the Chapter House tomb of  Abbess La Beata Urraca Lopez de Haro (1170 – 1262 (92))  (Abbess from 1225).

The room also contains the sepulchral slabs from the tombs of four other abbesses between 1268 and 1358, carved, in the traditional tribute to abbots and abbesses,  with reliefs of their croziers

 

A special cloister capital

 

This smallish painted relief depicting the last supper is part of the screen behind the (west facing) church altar and is a triumph of workmanship and the power of the Nikon 18-200 VR lens.
